Wax of Sweden is a label & music production company exploring new ways to create, package and distribute music. We're moving in the areas where Electronica & Lounge meets Jazz & Pop, but without being pragmatic. Good music is good music.
In our daily work to build a better world, there are four basic guidelines that we try to follow:
- Be curious, open-minded and innovative
- Be honest to yourself and the audience
- Music is an artform – artistic freedom precedes profits
- Don't take things too serious
Some of our releases are avilable for free, some are not - read more on the catalogue page. Due to the current business climate and the legal system we feel this is the most realistic solution and hopefully the best of both worlds. Although, the rules of this business might change overnight and we will keep pace with the development.
